Communion Breakfast Honored
Judge Timothy E. McMonagle, Class of 1963
The 66th Annual Communion Breakfast was attended by nearly 100 alumni, friends and family on Sunday, April 30. Mass was celebrated at St. John’s Cathedral with Rev. Mark Hollis ’63 and Deacons John Sferry ’63 and John Wenzel ’65. The Class of 1967 participated with the readings and gift bearers. They were guests of the alumni association and honored on the occasion of their 50th anniversary from graduating from Latin.
After Mass, guests arrived at the Wyndham Cleveland at Playhouse Square. Breakfast was served at noon and followed by the awards presentation. Tom Nowel ’65 presented Judge Timothy McMonagle ’63 with a beautiful plaque for the Merit Award – the highest honor given by the Alumni Association. This award is given to someone who has distinguished himself in his chosen field of endeavor in a manner that brings renown to Cathedral Latin School. Congratulation to Tim for this special award!
We would like to thank everyone who attended this wonderful event. Please mark your calendar for next year’s event which will be Sunday, April 29, 2017.
